Borussia Dortmund return to action in the Bundesliga on Saturday against Augsburg as they look to continue their title chase.

Borussia Dortmund return from their winter break with a new star signing in Erling Haaland integrated into the team. It’s not very likely he gets the start in this one fresh off his injury but we could definitely see him at some point. Dortmund will be looking to start the second half of their season on the right foot with a win. They have three must win games to start the second half against lower opposition so it’s important they take maximum points in those games.

Borussia Dortmund will be without Marcel Schmelzer, Thomas Delaney and Tobias Raschl as all three of them are ruled out with injury. Also missing are Dan Axel Zagadou and Paco Alcacer, who haven’t travelled with the squad to Augsburg. With Zagadou out, a formation change could be on the cards.

Lucien Favre has also confirmed that Gio Reyna will be included in the match day squad. While new signing Erling Haaland is expected to start on the bench.

Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up.

Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki

Roman Bürki will be back in goal on Saturday for Borussia Dortmund as they head into the second half of the season. His spot isn’t in competition coming out of the break, he is Dortmund’s clear number one.
