Three talking points ahead of Borussia Dortmund vs Werder Bremen

Is Peter Stöger the right coach for Borussia Dortmund?
The idea of Peter Stöger returning to coach BVB next season doesn’t sound as bad as it once did. After taking over for Peter Bosz, Stöger started a slow process to fight for a spot for a UEFA league next season. Aiming for the Champions League was a difficult task considering how dismal the team looked headed into winter break and after.
Stöger secured a top 6 finish for BVB on the table and can still claim second place when the dust clears. While there is something to be said about the 2017/2018 season, results matter most in the end. Stöger has his formation and almost his starting XI when reviewing his choices this season.
While rumors of a new coach swirl, it is easy to see Stöger as the true successor to Thomas Tuchel. Even if that is the case, imagining Arsene Wenger manage Borussia Dortmund is a thought-provoking image.
