Axel Witsel

Axel Witsel has fully returned to team training since Dortmund arrived in Marbella. He was a massive loss at the end of the first half of the Bundesliga season. Although Dortmund played well without him, a couple of results could have been a bit more positive if they had Witsel in the lineup.

Axel Witsel’s importance to the team can’t be overstated, especially with Weigl’s departure to Benfica. He will be relied on heavily down the stretch in the title push.

Jacob Bruun Larsen

Jacob Bruun Larsen is probably the player most likely to make a move in the winter out of anyone. With Haaland coming in Dortmund have even further reinforced their attacking ranks. Bruun Larsen has taken a massive step back from last year, only making 4 Bundesliga appearances and all of them as a substitute.

He has also missed several games due to injury but the more likely reason he hasn’t joined up with the squad is that he is working on a move away from Dortmund.
