Defence: Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Dan-Axel Zagadou

With Dan-Axel Zagadou back in the fold, Favre has options on defence once again. While Favre could go with Piszczek over one of these three, when Dortmund have been at their best this season, it has been with Akanji, Hummels and Zagadou in the back three.

The biggest decision for Favre will be the formation, with the loss of Reus it remains to be seen if he sticks it out with the 3-4-3 that has worked so well since the change.

Leverkusen have a number of talented attacking players in their ranks, and the Dortmund defenders will have to be at their best in order to get the three points this weekend.
