Dan-Axel Zagadou vs Kylian Mbappe

Dan-Axel Zagadou will likely have the unfortunate task of marking the electric Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe will surely be coming down Dortmund’s left side frequently which means Zagadou and Guerreiro will face the daunting task of shutting him down. Mbappe has already dismantled Dortmund once, back when Tuchel was Dortmund’s manager and Mbappe was on Monaco. He is absolutely lethal in front of goal combined with his lightning pace makes him a nightmare for Dortmund’s defense.

This is going to be one of if not the most important battle on the pitch, if Mbappe is able to get around Zagadou he will be able to put Dortmund to bed once again. He could decide the tie in minutes if he gets behind the Dortmund back line a couple times. Zagadou and the rest of the Dortmund defence will need to be dialled in to keep him in check.
