Midfield: Achraf Hakimi, Axel Witsel, Emre Can, Raphael Guerreiro

Achraf Hakimi and Raphael Guerreiro are tough to replace right now. With Piszczek in the back three there isn’t a real alternative to Hakimi with Morey seemingly not a real alternative for Favre. Raphael Guerreiro has been one of Dortmund’s best players in recent weeks, not only showing his exceptional skill in the build up play but also finding the back of the net in his last two Bundesliga outings.

Axel Witsel and Emre Can have formed a very nice partnership in central midfield that should hopefully continue to get better and better the more they play together. Julian Brandt could very well make his return but with the important fixtures coming up it’s probably best not to rush him back into the starting XI.
