Borussia Dortmund were embarrassed on the final matchday of the Bundesliga season, suffering a 4-0 defeat to Hoffenheim.

After a promising start to the game, Borussia Dortmund were stunned by Hoffenheim in just the eighth minute, as Andrej Kramarić grabbed the opener with an excellent finish from the edge of the box. More poor defending from the hosts allowed the Croatian international to double his tally from close range at the half hour mark.

Lucien Favre decided to bring on Jadon Sancho and Achraf Hakimi at half time. But Borussia Dortmund’s hopes of mounting a second half comeback were dashed very quickly, after Kramarić completed his hat-trick with another composed finish past Roman Bürki. And the striker added a fourth from the spot just two minutes later to further compound on Dortmund’s misery.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from the game.

Roman Bürki (6.5/10)

Bürki conceded four goals today, but if it hadn’t been for him, the scoreline would have been much worse. The Swiss shot stopper made some excellent saves in the second half when the Borussia Dortmund defence already seemed to be on holiday.
