Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke 04: Expected Starting XI for crucial Revierderby
Forwards: Jadon Sancho, Gio Reyna, Erling Haaland
Gio Reyna will likely come into the team for this one after his impressive cameo off the bench against Lazio. The young American has had a very stellar start to the season from a production stand point and will looking to continue to build on that.
Joining Reyna in attack will be one of Marco Reus and Jadon Sancho. The Borussia Dortmund captain will certainly want to start the derby, and will likely get the nod over the struggling Sancho. The Englishman hasn’t been quite on the same level thus far and we just haven’t seen the same magic as last season. Even if he doesn’t start, he will likely come off the bench in the second half, and hopefully he can exploit the tiredness of Schalke defenders.

Leading the attack will be Erling Haaland who was arguably the only Borussia Dortmund player who had a good game on Tuesday. He loves playing for the Black and Yellows, and will no doubt be hungry to score against rivals Schalke.
