Midfield: Mahmoud Dahoud, Thomas Delaney

Mahmoud Dahoud has been a nice surprise in the past two games, putting together two very solid performances after getting back to back starts. Dahoud has been on the fringes for the past couple seasons, but has always been capable of delivering top performances.

He deserves to start on Saturday, and if he continues his excellent run of form, he can become a regular starter for Borussia Dortmund. But if Favre decides to rest him, Jude Bellingham will likely come into the starting XI.

One of Thomas Delaney or Axel Witsel will line up along with Dahoud in central midfield. The Black and Yellows currently have the luxury of healthy depth in midfield, and they should certainly take advantage of it, rotating Witsel and Delaney to keep them both fresh. Delaney has been solid and reliable whenever called upon so far this season, while Witsel has been far from his best in the last couple of games.
