Attack: Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus, Thorgan Hazard, Erling Haaland

Lucien Favre will have a plethora of options in attack with plenty of opportunity to rotate. Although that doesn’t really apply to Erling Haaland, as the only natural striker on the team, he will pretty much start every game as long as he is fit to play. Behind Haaland is where Favre will need to make the tough decisions.

Jadon Sancho and Gio Reyna have both logged in a lot of minutes so far this season and with future fixture congestion in mind, at least one of them should probably be rested.

Thorgan Hazard has made his way back from injury and come off the bench in the past two games, but he should be fit enough for his first start now. Finally comes the decision of which number 10 to play, whether it will be Marco Reus or Julian Brandt.

As long as Dortmund are in the 4-2-3-1 formation, we likely won’t see too much of these two players on the pitch at the same time unless Brandt is slotted into the number eight role. With Reus still working back to full fitness and game speed, we could see them split the games 50/50 until he is back to top form.
