Wing-Backs and Midfielders: Thomas Meunier, Axel Witsel, Mahmoud Dahoud, Raphael Guerreiro

Thomas Meunier is one of few players to have not been rested yet by Lucien Favre. And he will likely keep his spot as he goes up against his former club. Raphael Guerreiro should return to the side at left wing-back after getting a rest at the weekend.

We could see more rotation in midfield, especially if Thomas Delaney moves to a more defensive role. Axel Witsel has started both of Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League games so far, and should return to the starting XI on Wednesday, as he closes in on his 100th appearance for the Black and Yellows.

Joining him will likely be Mahmoud Dahoud. The German international is in excellent form and deserves to start in the number eight role.
