Previous Meeting: Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Hertha Berlin

The previous meeting between Borussia Dortmund and Hertha Berlin was a fairly drab affair, with Borussia Dortmund struggling to create too many clear cut chances in the absence of star striker Erling Haaland.

But they got the job done through Emre Can, who found the back of the net from the edge of the box with a fine finish following Julian Brandt’s cushioned header into his path. The goal was Can’s second following his January move from Juventus and kept Borussia Dortmund’s slim hopes of winning the Bundesliga title alive with four games to go in the season.

Borussia Dortmund also won the reverse fixture on earlier in the season 2-1, despite being down to ten men for the half of the game, thanks to first half goals from Jadon Sancho and Thorgan Hazard.

With both teams nearly at full strength, this weekend’s game should be a fairly entertaining affair. And with the attacking quality on show, we could be in for a lot of goals on Saturday.
