Champions League preview: Zenit St. Petersburg vs Borussia Dortmund

Players to Watch
The game could well be a very scrappy affair, and Borussia Dortmund’s attacking players may not get too many opportunities to show their quality. It will be all about getting the job done, and one player who will be aiming to lead from the front is Marco Reus. The Borussia Dortmund captain is set to return to the starting XI against Zenit after not being used at all on Saturday. If Reus plays the way he did against Köln, the Black and Yellows will certainly fancy their chances of getting the three points.
Thorgan Hazard was also an unused substitute on Saturday and should return to the starting XI. Unlike Julian Brandt, he is someone who can actually play the false nine role well. His movement and directness make him a big threat, and he will be looking to continue his good form with a goal against Zenit.
Borussia Dortmund will have to be wary of Zenit striker Sardar Azmoun. The Iran international scored a hat-trick and assisted the other two goals for Zenit in their 5-1 win at the weekend. He will no doubt be aiming to get his first Champions League goal of the season on Tuesday.
