Expected Borussia Dortmund lineup for Eintracht Braunschweig clash: Brandt in for Moukoko?
Attack: Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus, Gio Reyna, Julian Brandt
Thorgan Hazard is back in team training and if he should be on the bench. He could also be used as the false nine, if fit enough to start. Jadon Sancho will likely start on the right, as he looks to get back to the form we saw from him last season.
Julian Brandt, should he not start in midfield, could play up top as the false nine alongside Marco Reus. Reus like a lot of others this season has not been good enough by his high standards. He does deserve a bit of a break with him coming back from a long lay off with injury. But with Moukoko rested, it remains to be seen if he will get one. U-23s striker Steffen Tigges is also an option after being called up to the first-team.
Gio Reyna should round out the attacking midfielders as he is having an excellent season, even though he has been inconsistent at times. With Sancho really struggling to make an impact this season, Reyna has stepped up. Without him Dortmund would be significantly worse off in the standings.
