Gio Reyna registered a hat-trick of assists when Borussia Dortmund last faced Freiburg. But he goes into the return fixture on the back of no goals or assists in his last nine appearances. He will no doubt be looking to end that run this weekend.
While Reyna has been struggling in recent weeks, Jadon Sancho has been in excellent form. The Englishman now has four goals and four assists since the turn of the year and is showing his world class quality week in, week out. He will be aiming to keep his form going with another good display against Freiburg.
Vincenzo Grifo and Nils Petersen are Freiburg’s joint top scorers this season, but both have struggled in recent games. Ermedin Demirovic is in fine form though, and could pose a threat to the Dortmund defence.
