The last time these two sides met, Borussia Dortmund handed Freiburg a 4-0 thrashing with Erling Haaland and Gio Reyna leading the way. Haaland scored a brace and set up another, while Reyna got a hat-trick of assists as Der BVB enjoyed a thumping win at home to Freiburg.

Emre Can and Felix Passlack also got on the score-sheet, in what was one of Borussia Dortmund’s best performances of the season so far. A similar performance on Saturday could be the perfect momentum boost to their hopes of finishing in the top four this season.

However, Freiburg have a great record at home and will certainly pose a much tougher threat to the Borussia Dortmund defence. And we could be in for quite an exciting match-up between the two teams.
