Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Arminia Bielefeld: Jadon Sancho leads BVB to dominant win
By Tushar Bahl
Mahmoud Dahoud (8/10)
After going goalless for more than two years, Dahoud made it two goals in three games with a well taken strike from the edge of the box. He also continued his excellent run of form with another instrumental performance in the heart of the midfield.
With Delaney not available, Dahoud was asked to do a lot more defending than he would have liked. But he stuck to his task and did his job really well. He did give the ball away cheaply on a few occasions, but also made several smart forward passes. And some of his diagonal long balls helped open the game up for Borussia Dortmund, as we saw with his opener.
Jude Bellingham (6/10)
Bellingham had an early chance to make it 1-0, but his close range effort was blocked. He was always looking to venture forward and also played some really clever passes from midfield. He wasn’t afraid of getting into duels, and won the majority of his battles. But his decision making in the final third let him down at times.
