Borussia Dortmund’s front three failed to make much of an impact last weekend against Freiburg. But with a lack of other options, Marco Rose goes with the same trio against Hoffenheim.

Marco Reus has made an impressive start to the season. But after being kept quiet by Freiburg, he will be aiming to make the difference for his side against Hoffenheim.

Erling Haaland has been kept off the scoresheet in each of the last two games. He doesn’t usually go three games without a goal. And he will certainly be determined to find the back of the net on Friday.

Donyell Malen hasn’t had the best of starts to his Borussia Dortmund career. But he gets another chance to build up fitness and find his confidence. Hopefully, we will see him at his best against Hoffenheim.

Julian Brandt, Youssoufa Moukoko and Reinier Jesus will provide the attacking threat from the bench.
