Tuchel Out? Five Men Who Can Replace Him
By Aidan Reagh
5. Ralph Hasenhüttl
Finally, we end just as we started, with a manager in charge of a club performing at a very high level of skill. Ralph Hasenhüttl became a recognized name last season when he surprised many in the Bundesliga by keeping FC Ingolstadt in the top flight and avoiding relegation.
He then made a move this summer to newly promoted RB Leipzig; the club Bundesliga fans love to hate. Hasenhüttl has shocked many by leading his newly promoted side of young starlets to a Champions League position. He even kept his team close with Bayern on the league table for most of the season.
The formation of choice has been a 4-2-2-2, which is not something Dortmund’s players or fans will be familiar with. RB Leipzig’s standard approach this season has been to dominate the middle and force the ball wide for the fullbacks to start the attack.
Although Ralph Hasenhüttl has only spent one season with RB Leipzig and has qualified for the Champions League, the Austrian man may be convinced to leave his side for Dortmund.
