Borussia Dortmund’s All-Time Best XI

Borussia Dortmund have had some great players play for the team over the years. The Westfalenstadion has seen some incredible moments created over the club’s 109 year history.
The Black and Yellows have won eight German championships, four DFB-Pokals, five DFL Supercups, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup as well as the Intercontinental Cup. Borussia Dortmund were the first team to win a European competition in 1966 when they won the Cup Winners’ Cup.
The 1990s were arguably the best years in the club’s history. Under Ottmar Hitzfield, BVB won the Bundesliga as well as the DFL Supercup titles in 1995 and 1996. They also won the UEFA Champions League in 1997, beating a star-studded Juventus side in the final. They followed it up with a win in the Intercontinental Cup in Japan.
The 2000s saw the club win their third Bundesliga title before Jurgen Klopp came and won two more league titles with Der BVB.
All these eras have seen players become legends in that famous black and yellow jersey. So let us take a look at some of the very best to have ever played for Borussia Dortmund.
