Mario Götze

Mario Götze made his return from Bayern this summer for a reported €26m in what could have been a great return. Unfortunately for both Mario and the fans, he appeared in just a mere 11 lackluster matches. Also unfortunate for all of football, Mario Götze suffered a metabolic disorder that has sidelined him for the unforeseeable future.

Götze still has many years ahead of him, after all, he only turned 24 in March. One can only hope that his one goal and one assist he managed this season shows he still has what it takes to be world class. His impact lifted a World Cup in 2014; surely he still has the impact in him to help Dortmund lift many titles in his career.
