Mikel Merino

Another player of the long list of Tuchel-signed prospects, Mikel Merino, got his first taste of Bundesliga this year and seemed to gain the respect of Tuchel. Unfortunately for Mikel Merino, Thomas Tuchel is no longer in charge.

Not to go into details, there may have been an occasional misplaced pass. On the upside, in his eight appearances, only two were starts. Mikel Merino showed his inexperience but also showed his promise at times, which is honestly the most the Dortmund faithful could have asked of him this season. A loan move may do him some good.
