Borussia Dortmund dominated possession in their last encounter but it was all for nothing as Union Berlin made the most of their chances and ended up with a 3-1 victory. Even though they only had 26% possession they were still able to create just as many scoring chances as Dortmund with their 74%.

This game was the first of many for Borussia Dortmund that they underdelivered and it ended up costing them crucial points in the title race. Dortmund can’t let that happen again this time, the race is too tight to throw away points in games they should win. With their recent form this is a must win game for Borussia Dortmund.
