Wing-backs and Midfield: Felix Passlack, Axel Witsel, Jude Bellingham, Raphael Guerreiro

Raphael Guerreiro should make his return to the starting XI against Lazio. He was rested against Hoffenheim after coming back late in the week from international duty. As good as Passlack has played in his place, Guerreiro just adds so much to this Dortmund side. Felix Passlack has also simply outplayed Thomas Meunier in his time on the field and has fully earned the start. Meunier could also have to feature in central defence, which would also put Passlack in line for a start at right wing back.

With Delaney needed in central defence, Favre won’t have the option to rotate Axel Witsel for a breather. The Belgium international will keep his spot in central midfield. With the inexperience in the back line in this game, Witsel will need to be at the top of his game to protect the centre-backs. Jude Bellingham should also return to the starting lineup in this one, fresh after winning the Bundesliga rookie of the month award.
