Midfield: Mahmoud Dahoud, Axel Witsel

Mahmoud Dahoud is coming off an exceptional game against Schalke that needs to be rewarded with another start. Dahoud has a habit of getting into a run of good games before he gets dropped and isn’t seen for a couple months. Hopefully this time we’ll see him get an extended run in the team.

Axel Witsel should play in the double pivot with Dahoud as he faces off against his former team. This will be a game Witsel is looking forward to, it’s always circled on the calendar when you face off against your former club. After being rested against Schalke, Witsel will be primed for a return to the starting XI.
