Previous Meeting: Club Brugge 0-3 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund cruised to a 3-0 when they faced Club Brugge three weeks ago on matchday three of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Quick-fire goals from Thorgan Hazard and Erling Haaland gave the Black and Yellows the early advantage, before the latter added another at the half hour mark.

Borussia Dortmund lowered their tempo and intensity slightly after the break, with one eye on the weekend game against Bayern. But they still managed to enjoy a comfortable win over the Belgian champions.

The win helped Lucien Favre’s side go top of the Champions League group F, with Brugge two points behind in third place. Lazio are second, a point behind Dortmund, while Zenit are bottom with one point at the halfway stage.
