Team News

Borussia Dortmund head into the weekend with no new injuries as of now, meaning they will have close to their full squad available. Lucien Favre confirmed on Thursday that Dan-Axel Zagadou is not yet ready to play, so Dortmund will be without him, as well as Marcel Schmelzer and Reinier Jesus. Raphael Guerreiro is a doubt going into the game with a thigh injury.

We will once again see Lucien Favre rotate pretty heavily, with so many midfielders and attacking options at his disposal. Dortmund have the luxury of playing fresh legs each game. Youssoufa Moukoko will likely be on the bench once again and will look to see some more minutes if Der BVB have a strong hold on the game.

FC Köln will likely be without Jonas Hector and Florian Kainz this weekend. Both Anthony Modeste and Benno Schmitz returned to training this week and could be fit in time. Borussia Dortmund loanee Marius Wolf will likely start for the Billy Goats at right-back.

Expected Lineups

Borussia Dortmund: Bürki – Meunier, Hummels, Akanji, Passlack – Witsel, Bellingham – Sancho, Reus, Hazard – Haaland

FC Köln: Horn – Wolf, Mere, Bornauw, Katterbach – Shkiri, Ozcan – Jakobs, Duda, Limnios – Andersson
