Jadon Sancho’s five best performances for Borussia Dortmund

Number Two: vs Bayern Munich (DFL-Supercup 19/20 season)
Kicking off the 2019/20 season, Borussia Dortmund welcomed Bayern Munich to the Westfalenstadion for the DFL Supercup. While you can debate the importance of the fixture, the near full strength lineups both teams played showed how they viewed the occasion. And after the close league finish in 2018/19, claiming silverware to start the following season as well as winning the first Der Klassiker of the campaign was a great momentum builder.
The teams were scoreless at the break, but the Jadon Sancho show lit up the Signal Iduna Park in the second half. Sancho set up Paco Alcacer to open the scoring. Running at the Bayern defence, the England international drew in four defenders and nutmegged Corentin Tolisso to set Alcacer up, and the Spaniard found the bottom corner with a first time finish from just outside of the box.
Dortmund maintained a wave of Bayern pressure after opening the scoring, and with just over 20 minutes to go, Guerreiro found Sancho on the counter with nothing but open space between him and Manuel Neuer. He made his way into the box and scored past Neuer to put the game out of reach. Dortmund went on to win 2-0, with Sancho the clear man of the match.
