Over to the youth internationals, Maximilian Beier will play for Germany’s U-21s in high-profile friendlies against their Denmark and France counterparts.

Similarly, Jamie Gittens will travel to Spain and the Netherlands for England’s preparation for next summer’s U-21 Euros in Slovakia. The Three Lions’ interim coach Lee Carsley will return to the side in 2025.

Almugera Kabar, who was sent off on his Borussia Dortmund first-team debut away at Augsburg, will also be on international duty with Germany U-19s. Based in Andorra, they will play three games in six days for a qualifying spot for the European Championship in Romania. Kjell Wätjen will miss the games due to a muscle injury.

Fresh off his first-team debut for Borussia Dortmund, Cole Campbell will be away with the United States U-20s for their matches against South Korea and France. Filippo Mane will also be in action for the Italy U-20s as they take on Poland and Romania.

Lastly, there would be a host of Borussia Dortmund youth team players who will spend time with Germany’s youth set-ups. Taycan Etcibasi, Tyler Meiser, and Jonas Feddersen will be with the U-18 team in Spain. Ahmad Najdi and Paul Tanyi will play a couple of games against Türkiye for the U-16s. Earlier this week, highly-rated attacker Till Burkhardt took part in DFB’s training camp with the U-15s.
