Łukasz Piszczek, 32 in June, is getting older and hasn’t been reliable in the defense as he was a few years ago. Therefore, finding a new right-back for the future would make sense.

Felix Passlack, the 18-year old German fullback, would make the most sense. He is already with the club, has international experience, and has a lot of upsides. Despite being only 5″7, Passlack could develop into a mainstay at right-back.

The other option would be to go out and buy someone such as Mitchell Weiser, the 23-year old right back for Hertha Berlin. Weiser has a lot of pace, great attacking ability, and would fit right in at Dortmund.

As far as a destroyer in the midfield, it is going to be hard to find someone like that. Sebastian Rode could be the solution, but it would be up to Tuchel to give him playing time.

Naby Keïta from RB Leipzig would be a tasty move but seems highly unlikely as the success of the Red Bull team would be hard to leave, especially with the future so bright.
