In the words of NBA legend Vince Carter, “it’s over.”

Thomas Tuchel’s time has ended at Borussia Dortmund, and the Dortmund fan base is a storm full of mixed emotions. For some fans, trusting Watzke is the best path in this sticky situation. For others, Tuchel’s firing is almost equivalent to possibly banning of fast-food restaurants in the United States. Absurd.

Earlier this morning, we took to Twitter to hear your thoughts on Tuchel’s sacking. Here are some of the most interesting tweets that we got from you all.

But, before we do, here are the first three tweets ever by Thomas Tuchel on Twitter (made an account this morning.)

Classy with a hint of spite. Have to love Thomas Tuchel. As promised, here are the best tweets we got from you guys.

Alwin Meinig trusts Watzke in this situation. Despite Tuchel’s success, if the manager and upper brass are not on the same page, it could cause problems in the future. If the relationship was smooth, then you would see an Arsene Wenger type situation.

For Paolo Reus, lack of information was the real problem. As Dortmund stated earlier, they wouldn’t be releasing the details of why they fired Tuchel. The only thing they did was confirm that it wasn’t purely because of a disagreement between two persons.

Safe to say the news of Tuchel’s departure hit Rene Dupree quite hard. Personally, saying that this is the most shameful thing the club has done is a bit of a stretch. However, it is sad that the best coach, statistically, in Dortmund history is leaving.

Yep. We feel you Anastacia.

Interesting points here made by RBO. However, if Dortmund can keep the team intact, it would be better than when HItzfeld left. But, only the summer will show if that will be the case.

Last, but certainly not least, we have Stephan Locks take. Locks thinks that it is necessary for a Tuchel departure. In order to accurately assess this claim, we must wait to see how Dortmund performs next season.
