Christian Pulisic

29 appearances. The American Wonderboy caught some eyes last season but truly burst onto the scene this term. Regarding statistical production, Pulisic only contributed three goals and six assists. However, there are certain things in a player that numbers cannot accurately represent.

Pulisic gave all of the opposition headaches this season. Just look back at the Revierderby (Dortmund’s derby with Schalke), Pulisic spent more time on the ground than on his feet because a particular team could not handle him.

Pulisic brought a certain amount of creative spark whenever he stepped foot on the pitch, but there were times where he could only have a fit of frustration when other clubs would resort to physical play. This season proved his worth and potential; next season should be just as exciting.
