Analyzing Borussia Dortmund’s Strongest Starting XI

Now that the transfer window has slammed shut, it’s time to look forward to the rest of the season for Borussia Dortmund.

Soon the players called up for international duty will be returning to their club’s training camps. You can read about their performances over the break here on BVB Buzz. The regular season will now hit it’s stride, and Borussia Dortmund will take on Freiburg at their stadium this Saturday.

Going into the season, it’s important to understand what our strongest lineup is. It’s early in the season, but Bosz has everyone in his team now. Considering some of the players’ form recently for Dortmund and for their respective national teams, it’s very likely that Bosz already has his elite performers in mind.

Today I have put together a starting eleven of players based on their recent performance. I believe that they are the best that Borussia Dortmund currently has to offer. Let’s begin with the goalkeeper.
