Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

No surprises here.

Aubameyang scored a staggering 31 league goals last season to take home the Golden Boot. A large number of those goals came from Ousmane Dembele passes and crosses. However, the departure of Dembele hasn’t seemed to bother the Gabonese striker so far, who already has 2 goals in 2 games in the Bundesliga.

Dortmund’s best business of their summer transfer window was keeping hold of Aubameyang. And he seems to be flourishing under Peter Bosz’s high pressing system that was so prominent when he first came up under Jurgen Klopp’s Dortmund. Let’s hope that continues as the season progresses.
