Christian Pulisic

With Yarmolenko more suited on the right wing, we will most likely see Pulisic shifted over to the left side. He has taken up the role left by Ousmane Dembele. And he has the potential to become one of the world’s best wingers. It just seems that right now he’s in a bit of a rut.

This has been showcased not only in his recent performance against Costa Rica with the national team, but against Hertha Berlin, where he failed to deliver for Dortmund.

The American is already progressing well under his new manager, but it’s going to take time for him to get to the level Dembele was at last season. With that being said, he is still Dortmund’s best current option to take up the starting role on the left wing. Reus is injured until next year, Schurrle can’t seem to score, and Maximilian Philipp will take time to develop into the Marco Reus 2.0 that we know he can be.
