Lukasz Piszczek

The Polish international is now embarking on his eight season with Borussia Dortmund. Piszczek originally started out as an attacking midfielder at former club Hertha Berlin. That offensive prowess has been visible in his attacking work rate on the right flank.

Last season in the Bundesliga he registered 5 goals, 1 assist, and 16 key passes, per Squawka. He shows an excellent defensive work rate as well, and is considered to be one of the best fullbacks in the world.

Jeremy Toljan was signed by Dortmund to provide cover at right-back for Piszczek. This season I think we’ll see him integrated into the starting lineup for Der BVB, but Piszczek will still hold the starting position.
