Nuri Sahin

During the Jurgen Klopp days, Nuri Sahin was one of the most talked about midfielders in Europe. After failed stints at Real Madrid and Liverpool, Sahin rejoined Borussia Dortmund and fell into obscurity. It looked as if Sahin’s days at Dortmund were numbered under Thomas Tuchel.

However, this season it looks as if Sahin has hit the form of his life. The Turkish midfielder has taken up the distributing role in front of Dortmund’s center-backs. Not only that, but he has registered a goal and an assist already this season in the Bundesliga.

Sahin looks like his old self again under Peter Bosz, and for that reason, he has earned himself a place in the starting eleven for Dortmund.
