5 players Borussia Dortmund should consider signing in January

Another player who was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer was Gelson Martins. However, the move did not materialize and Martins remains with Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese international showed in the Confederations Cup that he has the potential to become a world class winger.
He is energetic, pacy, skillful and has the athleticism to make in the Bundesliga. He was linked with Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Chelsea as well as Barcelona this summer. However Dortmund should seriously consider signing the 22-year old as he could give them a raw athlete who can produce something out of nothing.
Yes, Dortmund already well stocked in the department of wide players. However with Reus being prone to injury and Yarmolenko still settling in, all the pressure falls on 18-year old Christian Pulisic to create chance for Aubameyang.
But with Martins and Pulisic on either flanks, Dortmund can tear down any given defense with sheer pace and skill. While Martins is not a finished product yet, he has the potential to succeed at the top level. And a club like Borussia Dortmund can provide him a platform to succeed and reach his potential.
