2. It’s personal for Aubameyang

Aubameyang’s desire to play for Real Madrid was no secret. The whole world knew of the promise he once made his grandfather that he would one day become a  Bernabéu Galáctico. A dream transfer that would never materialise because Madrid had no interest in bringing him in.

Auba has recently opened up about this in a radio interview with RMC, “I have no dream…I shall no longer speak of Madrid. They don’t want me. This is not a problem. I move forward, I am well in Dortmund.”

Auba will surely relish at the idea of making Madrid President Florentino Perez watch as he tears apart the Madrid back-line. Or maybe it could be his last ditch effort to attract their eye for one last try to make good upon his promise to his grandfather, and earn himself a summer transfer.
