Piszczek about to throw the ball back in play for Dortmund.
Lukasz Piszczek has become one of the club’s best ever right-backs

Lukasz Piszczek (Joined 2010)

The Polish international came from Hertha Berlin on a free transfer in 2010 and has been with BVB ever since. Piszczek has won 2 league titles and 2 DFB Pokals with Dortmund during his time and was a part of the team that reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2013.

Commonly found playing as Dortmund’s right back, he makes strides down the right wing constantly while playing. He is solid at the back as well and he is considered to be one of the club’s best ever right-backs. He has made 236 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and scoring 15 goals overall. At the age of 32, there is wonder to how much longer Piszczek will be featured in the starting XI.
