Shinji Kagawa – (Joined in 2010, Departed in 2012, Joined again in 2014)
Transfered to Borussia Dortmund from Cerezo Osaka for a fee of 2.50 million euros, Shinji Kawaga made his presence felt in Germany right away. The Japanese international started off his first years at Dortmund as a key member of team. Scoring 8 and 13 goals respectively in those seasons, the midfielder would leave for Manchester United in 2012. While he won the league with the Red Devils in 2013, he returned to the Signal Iduna Park just an year later.
Kagawa returned in 2014 to plenty of playing time under Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel. Peter Bosz looks to continue the trend, the 28-year-old has been featured in 6 matches overall for Dortmund this season.
Last week, Kagawa became the highest scoring Japanese player in Bundesliga history with his 38th goal for the club.
