Forward: Stéphane Chapuisat

Chapuisat was a prolific striker who played for Borussia Dortmund in the 90s. He joined the club in 1991 and scored 20 goals in his first season at the club. He ended up scoring a 122 goals in 278 appearances for the club and helped Dortmund win two Bundesliga titles and the UEFA Champions League.

His quick feet, his dribbling and his lethal finishing made Chapuisat one of the best strikers in Europe at the time. He was named Switzerland’s most outstanding player of the last 50 years in 2003.

He left the club in 1999 to move to Switzerland with Grasshopper Club Zürich. Dortmund enjoyed great successes with Chapuisat leading the line, making him one of the best ever forwards to play for the club and forever establishing his legendary status.
