Aubameyang is deadly in front of goal
Aubameyang is one of the Bundesligaâs best foreign goal scorers overall. It all started with a hat-trick the day he opened his Bundesliga account. Heâs nailed in a total 135 goals for the club, with more to come this season. Heâs seventh best striker, in terms of goals, for BVB over the clubâs history.
Should Aubameyang stay with Borussia Dortmund at least another year, he could out score Sporting Director Michael Zorc. Zorc leads Dortmund in goals with 159 during his career.
What makes him so deadly is how he scores his goals. Versatile, quick and consistently aware are the main attributes that have contributed to his success. The majority of his goals come within the 18-yard box. The 28-year old is still just reaching the peak of his powers. And this could be the year for him to outshine all the other strikers in Europe.
Aubameyang is a striker in every sense of the term. Yet, this alone is only part of what it takes to take home the Golden Boot.
