5 reasons why Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will win the Golden Boot

Aubameyang is in great form domestically and in Europe
This season has shown Aubameyang didn’t lose his touch since the last one. He started the season for BVB with a hat-trick in the DFB-Pokal. He added another hat-trick in the home match against Borussia Monchengladbach as well. Aubameyang has only failed to score a goal in 3 matches this season throughout all competitions.
As the stats show, Aubameyang tends to fare better for BVB with fewer goals opening the campaign. The previous season saw the Dortmund striker score 9 goals before the October break. The 2015 campaign he scored 11 goals in the same time. If anything, this shows Aubameyang is on his way to coming into form for the rest of the campaign.
During European competitions, Aubameyang tends to play fairly well. Between the Europa League and the Champions League, he’s scored 23 goals between 51 appearances. Yet his form leans toward sporadic at best while playing against teams from other leagues.
Even though Aubameyang is one of BVB’s best goal scorers, soccer is a team game. He wouldn’t have most of his chances to score had it not been with a little help.
