Players have started to return from injury

One of the biggest problems for BVB this season has been the lack of depth. Dortmund has an excellent squad on paper but untimely injuries to crucial players, has derailed their season after a glorious start in the Bundesliga. Bosz has had to depend excessively on the senior players for victories. However, a lack of depth has caused fatigue and a general lack-lustre environment within the club.

Things have started to swing in favour of Die Burussen, however, with the returns of André Schürrle and Raphaël Guerreiro. Guerreiro was sorely missed on the left side of the defence and his intelligent movement into the midfield will add an extra dimension to Dortmund’s midfield control. In comparison, Schürrle has the ability to come off the bench and harass tired defences like no other. The duo has strengthened the starting line-up and the bench with their presence which will be key, going into the game.
