Full focus on the Bundesliga

After consecutive defeats and draws, Borussia Dortmund has now failed to win a single game in their Champions League group this season. Heavy losses against Real Madrid and Tottenham broke BVB’s resolve while the two draws against APOEL have killed the enthusiasm for European glory.

Dortmund has absolutely no chance at the CL which means that their best shot at winning a major title is the Bundesliga. Despite their poor form, BVB are currently just 3 points off the top and a win will take them over Bayern Munich on goal difference and head-to-head. Despite the winter-break, Bayern will be spread thin during the CL knock-outs. BVB can count on a drop n form from the Bavarians during the business-end of the season. If BVB can rack up enough points in the Bundesliga, they have a good chance of maintaining their lead over the current champions and it all begins this weekend.
