Arjen Robben vs Marcel Schmelzer

The duo have faced off many times over the years. And the two veterans are set to face off once again down the wings. Arjen Robben just keeps on getting better as he gets older. Once again, this season, the Dutchman has been in fine form for Bayern and has been a key reason behind their rise.

Dortmund captain Marcel Schmelzer is likely to be tasked with keeping Robben at bay on Saturday. And he will have to be at his very best if he is to stop the 33-year old from making an impact. Schmelzer has struggled with injuries so far this season and Robben and Bayern might look to exploit his lack of pace.

With Frank Ribery and Thomas Muller both out injured, Robben is set to be provide the biggest attacking threat for Bayern. So if Schmelzer can stop him from making an impact, Borussia Dortmund’s chances of getting a result will be boosted.
