Gotze is returning to being one of the best ranked players in the world. All since he came back to Borussia Dortmund.

2. Mario Gotze

This is a different Gotze compared to the one that came back to Dortmund in 2016. Looking at the change in his game this season, he looks to be back in form. He is providing his teammates woth great chances and has three assists to his name. He is maintaining pace and proving to be a key member on the team.

Gotze is more physical than ever in his play this season as well. This specifically has helped his return to prominence. Gotze is tossing opponents around and maintaining a good challenge when on the ball. Good decision-making and creating trouble in the midfield, Gotze will be headed into a great season with BVB.

He has a point to prove ahead of the World Cup next year. And so far, he has done exactly that.
