Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The Gabonese striker ended his drought in Dortmund’s 2-1 loss against Tottenham Hotspur. Aubameyang is needed to provide goal scoring chances against Schalke and has been one of the most important stars of the team. Aubameyang has been having trouble in the Bundesliga however, and hasn’t scored since October against Leipzig.

A goal against Schalke could ultimately unleash the flood gates, allowing for more goals from Aubameyang and his teammates.

A tough challenge for the 27-year-old striker will be attacking against Shalke’s star defender Naldo.

Schalke have only conceded 10 goals this season, 2 more than Bayern Munich. This means that Aubameyang and other attacking players will have to find weaknesses to abuse in the Schalke defense.
