Christian Pulisic is set to return

BVB fans will be hoping to see the American wonder kid Christian Pulisic start against Schalke in the Revierderby. Pulisic will be facing his fellow USMNT teammate and friend, Weston McKennie.

The two young American talents have proven their worth in the Bundesliga becoming regular starters for their respected clubs.

Although they are very close friends, having met when they were both thirteen, the two will be looking to out-do one another to earn their teams points. Pulisic has already proven to be a regular goal creator and scorer who can perform in big games.

He showed how good he can be against Bayern Munich. Despite his teammates’ woes, Pulisic was a constant threat to Bayern’s defense as they failed to cope with his pace and dribbling skills. However, he got injured following that game and he is set to make his return against Schalke.

His pace and energy could be met by Schalke defenders who will be looking to shut out the 19-year-old midfielder.

This game is the perfect time for Pulisic to show that he can be one of the most reliable players on the pitch. A goal or even an assist might be enough for Pulisic to not only win the game, but also to relieve some pressure off his boss, Peter Bosz.
